Project Description:
The Mid-Atlantic PACE Alliance (MAPA) is an innovative partnership between state agencies, private businesses, and non-profit institutions to accelerate the utilization of Property-Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) financing in the tristate region of Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC. MAPA received $500,000 in U.S. Department of Energy funding in January 2017.
The key objectives of the MAPA project are to promote a thoughtful, standardized program approach that is easily adopted by interested jurisdictions, develop a coordinated marketing and messaging campaign to increase awareness and availability of PACE, and increase the number of PACE project closings to reach a level of program revenue that is self-sustaining.
MAPA is led by the Virginia Department of Mines, Minerals and Energy, to whom CESI is Sub-grantee and the Technical Lead.
