Project Description:
CESI has been working since 2011, directly or as a subcontractor, with the DC Department of Energy & Environment on their property-assessed clean energy (PACE) financing. Currently CESI provides Independent Engineering services via Urban Ingenuity and Greenworks Lending, as the Validator of PACE financing applications in the District. CESI is also a member of the Harcourt Brown team, drafting legal and technical materials in support of the new DC Green Bank. During the initial organization of PACE financing in the District, CESI researched PACE legislation and protocols nationally and drafted major sections of the first PACE Program Manual.
